IDUN Technologies is the leading producer of customized soft and dry electrodes – the DRYODES™. Founded in 2017 following three years of academic R&D at ETH Zürich, IDUN Technologies has developed the Dryodes™ that are used around the world for wearable technology and research.
We first met Severine and Katja when they came to Berlin for the 2019 Advanced Materials Competition (AdMaCom) and they were an incredible edition to the program.

This season, we will be airing “Expert Episodes”! Every few weeks we will invite experts in different areas that are relevant to startups and entrepreneurs to come and impart their wisdom on the show. We’ll have experts from many different fields such as IP, legal, pitching, business, investment, funding and more!
This week, on our very first Expert Episode, we invited INAM’s very own Ferdinand Bartels to come and share business advice based on his experience with mentoring deep tech startups.
Currently, Ferdinand is the Managing Director of SPECS and is the Head of the Board at INAM. He is heavily involved with the Advanced Materials Competition (AdMaCom) program and is consistently voted as best mentor every year.

Thermulon is an early stage startup that has designed a novel chemical process to synthesize nanoporous insulation at scale. Theirs is the first high-performance, non-combustible building insulation material to meet increasing energy efficiency and fire regulations.

Yu is the CEO of NanoPattern Technologies, a startup from Chicago, Illinois, USA! NanoPattern is manufacturing a sub micron 1 resolution photopatternable ink that enable electronics manufacturers to make displays 70% more energy efficient and 50% better color experience.
